Dr. Marguerite Germain founded her practice in 2003, which means she has more than a dozen years of experience helping the local population with their skincare needs. Since starting Germain Dermatology, she has watched as technology has leapt forward, creating safer, more effective, and less invasive devices and techniques that help to give women and men the look they want. Dr. Germain aims to stay abreast of the most current developments, ensuring that she and her team are well versed in the best options the industry has to offer. In addition, she also ensures other doctors are doing the same by training them in her role as an international educator for BOTOX^®, laser, and other treatments.

Dr. Emily Kmetz joined Dr. Germain in 2019, coming from Summerville, where she was no stranger to local readers routinely voting her Best Dermatologist. As a board-certified dermatologist, she strives to not only meet, but to exceed accepted standards of care, as well as to constantly evolve and grow as a medical professional.

Germain Dermatology has three physician assistants and one clinical specialist on staff, offering a high level of patient care grounded in best medical practices and a desire to build a rapport with each patient. Each PA is highly trained and board certified, experienced in both diagnosis and treatment of a range of skin conditions.
