Vbeam® is a type of laser treatment used at Germain Dermatology in Charleston, South Carolina, to treat a variety of skin conditions, including redness, rosacea, broken capillaries (spider veins), port wine stains, and other vascular lesions. It is a non-invasive treatment that uses a pulsed dye laser to target specific areas of the skin. During the procedure, a high-intensity beam of light is delivered to the skin, which is then absorbed by the blood vessels in the targeted area. This causes the vessels to narrow and eventually close, reducing redness and improving the appearance of the skin. The V-Beam treatment is a safe, effective, and relatively fast procedure with minimal downtime. During your consultation at Germain Dermatology, we will determine which V-Beam treatment is best for you and your concerns.
Vbeam® Perfecta is a top-of-the-line pulsed-dye laser system designed to safely and effectively treat many vascular conditions. By using intense yet gentle bursts of light, vascular lesions can be selectively targeted without harming the surrounding skin.
The delicate skin on the face, neck, and chest can be treated with Vbeam® Perfecta safely. Additionally, it is gentle enough to be used on infants and children.
What The Vbeam® Perfecta Helps :
The Vbeam® Prima utilizes a pulsed dye laser to maintain healthy and beautiful skin without undergoing complicated surgery or requiring extensive recovery time. During this procedure, pulsed laser energy is directed at a specific area, which is then absorbed into the blood vessels of the skin instead of the surrounding healthy tissue. The large treatment spot size of Vbeam® Prima makes the process faster than other cosmetic lasers.
What The Vbeam® Prima Helps :
The Vbeam® treatment involves a pulsed dye laser for treating rosacea and vascular lesions. Laser energy is delivered in pulses, and a dye generates a variety of colored laser beams. We can effectively target hemoglobin without damaging your skin or blood vessels by using different colored beams.
Those with facial redness, dilated facial veins, rosacea, broken capillaries, and brown spots like age spots and sun freckles can undergo Vbeam treatments in order to rejuvenate their skin.
You may experience a mild, sunburn-like sensation with minor swelling and/or bruising. This will last anywhere from two to 24 hours but will subside on their own.
We recommend three initial treatments, four weeks apart. Additional treatments may be necessary based on your individual needs.
Within 4-8 weeks of receiving Vbeam® treatments, you will notice an improvement in a blood vessel lesion. There is a gradual improvement with each session. The average patient sees a 25-75% improvement after each session.
