Peels
Germain Dermatology has a wide variety of peels to choose from (including the glycolic peel, Jesnner's peel, and Beta Lift peel) and our talented staff can help determine which is the best choice for your skin type and cosmetic goals. Dr. Germain can also recommend combined procedures or products that can maximize your results.
Dermasweep® Microdermabrasion
The Dermasweep treatment combines exfoliation with infusion of targeted topical solutions to keep your skin healthy and attractive. During treatment, dead skin cells are gently removed, blood flow is stimulated, pores are cleansed, collagen growth is encouraged, and the topical solution is applied. The treatment is safe, painless, and requires no downtime. Like Silk Peels, Dermasweep treatments should initially be performed 3 times, with 2 weeks in between treatments. After this initial period, regular maintenance treatments should be scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks.
Dermaplaning
Like peels and microdermabrasion, South Carolina dermaplaning treatments provide fresher, brighter, healthy-looking skin. Dermaplaning is different in that it uses a blade to remove the outer layer of dead skin cells and impurities. After dermaplaning, products can penetrate deeper within the skin (and are thus more effective) and most women find that makeup looks smoother.
Many women choose to combine their peel or microdermabrasion with laser hair removal for truly smooth and flawless skin.
